It is in Terbol, a village in the Bekaa plain, that our National Heritage Foundation team, under the patronage of its president Mona Hraoui, rehabilitated a mud brick or earthen house of traditional vernacular architecture.
The owners, the Rami family, agreed in 2003 to rent it for 15 years, so that a committee of professional volunteers could begin rebuilding it to give new life to this house and to the create an Ecomuseum.
Mr. Nehmeh Saghbini donated the traditional farming tools to the Museum.
